Got it back together

Mocked up the fenders and grill after setting the tub back on... looks like a truck again!

Cut the steering column to accept the gauge cluster

and shot the bedliner...

Next up... wiring with a new kit!

Norm, the Mayor of The Village was instrumental in successfully mating the 72 tub to the newly refurbished chassis, Thanks!

Progress!

OK, hopefully I am better at rebuilding a truck...

than posting on this blog.

Frame is out and done, engine is out and ready.

Axles are almost ready, but need to pull the 72 apart for springs and bits and pieces.

I built this thing, and by buddy Norm helps me keep on track.

As you can see from previous...

I built a contraption to pull the body, good thing I never throw anything out ;)

The 77 frame is sweet, and so it the motor, so cleaned up the engine (gaskets, paint and such), found a sweet deal on a carb and on to the frame. Sand blasted, POR 15 and chassis paint.

Can't wait to pull the good tub and start putting the puppy back together.

Progress!

Been almost too busy to take pics, and definitely too busy to post, but...

Update on the 'Village'

We spent part of the day stripping the '76 GMC getting all the rest of the good stuff off it. Was not cognizant enough to take pics, but we got her down to what will go to scrap.

Here are a couple pics of the '61 Econline we did.

John also just bought a '69 Pontiac Catalina Wagon, can't wait to bring that one into the fold.
